The weekend before Earth Day is April 17th and 18th.  Use this time for your congregation to make a commitment towards being stewards of the Earth.  Depend on more natural light during services and provide a spiritual message to protect the Earth

• Inspire a responsibility to care for the Earth and assure that it is safe for future generations
• Engage community action to protect Earth within the spiritual community
• Create an awareness of the significance and complexity of environmental issues
